Dagostinia's Natural Resource Division manages and preserves water and solar resources for the benefit of Dagostinia and its neighbors. It has been discovered that The Field has a fairly high water table with hydrologic resources at approximately 3' down in several places. In an effort to tap this resource the Natural Resource Division has planned to hand drill a well near the garden. It is hoped that this well can alleviate some of the pressure of using tapwater in order to benefit the Agriculture Department.

Water:

The following Water resolutions shall be made:

No water shall be wasted excessively.

Crops shall be watered with reclaimed rainwater as much as practically possible.

Toilets, showerheads and other watering devices shall be low-flow.

Grey-water systems are encouraged.

Solar:

The following Solar resolutions shall be made:

Solar resources shall be harvested in both active and passive ways for light, heating and energy.

All facilities that house residents or animals shall have solar access.  An exception shall be made for solar shading in the interest of energy savings.

No new structure or planting shall limit solar access to another need.

New structures shall be built ready to accept PV panels.
